It’s been a few days now since the shocking news of your horrific accident. I keep playing over Saturday, November 30 in my mind and it seems like a nightmare that I can’t wake up from. As my friends and I were celebrating one life another had been removed from this Earth so instantly. When reading the “breaking” news on Twitter, we just knew it was a celebrity death hoax. There was no way that the star of one of the most popular films involving racing cars died in an actual car accident. But as reports from several credible news sources were reported and finally an announcement from your publicist, we knew it was real.
No, I’m not a blood relative or even a close friend of yours, but I am an adoring fan who has always appreciated and admired your work….and of course, those gorgeous blue eyes. I fell in love those eyes in Into The Blue; I was angry with you (Caleb Mandrake) in The Skulls, annoyed with you (Dean Sampson) in She’s All That and desperately wanted to be Jordana Brewster (Mia) in The Fast and the Furious franchise so that I could be your love (…teenage crushes are so serious). All of your characters took us through a range of emotions and displayed your acting range.
While I have never met you in person and unfortunately never will, you have a place in my heart. I speak for all the fans when I say that you will TRULY be missed. Our hearts are in a state of mourning. We felt so close and connected to you through your acting roles and generous spirit. Even after your death we learn more and more of how great of a person you were which makes it hurt even more to know that such a beautiful soul was stolen from the world.
As I write to you with tears in my eyes all that I can say is that I LOVE YOU. We are praying that God watches over your family and friends and most of all, your daughter Meadow. I hope God grants them the strength and comfort to deal with your passing.
We love and miss you dearly.
