Fundraising opportunity at Bloomingdale’s in New York City
On Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 5-8pm EST, Bloomingdale’s will be hosting ”The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) Shopping Day”, located at 1000 Third Avenue in New York City for Women’s RTW (Ready to Wear) and Men’s clothing. All shoppers will need to turn in their receipts to the personal shopping offices: At Your Service in Women’s on the fourth floor and At His Service on the Lower Level that evening when they are finished shopping.
Ten percent (10%) of all sales that evening will be donated to The LAGRANT Foundation. This opportunity is made available by past scholarship winner, Bloomingdale’s Special Event Manager Genevieve (Gigi) Koch and Bloomingdale’s Operating Vice President, Diversity and Community Relations Nicole L. Cokley.

About the Event
A Call To Be C.H.I.C: Charitable.Hopeful.Impactful.Classy takes the form of cocktail reception and fashion gala. While you are feted with entertaining music, food and beverage, you will be further treated to a fashion showcase by top quality designers. The night promises to be exquisitely entertaining and interactive, while allowing you to be Impactful by showcasing the Charitable Classy you.
Purpose:
The mission and purpose of Jamaica Impact Inc., is a to continue our commitment to the development of early childhood education in Jamaica. Each year we collect and distribute school supplies and complete various capital projects in support of our adopted schools. We are currently undertaking a full reconstruction of the Maxfield Park Children’s Home Basic School facilities. The building currently used by the school is over 200 years old, leaking, and termite infested. Proceeds from ticket sales and donations will go toward rebuilding the school.
